Sophie Liang is the president of Brighid Law Corporation.
She obtained LL.B., LL.M. and Juris Doctor from Chinese and Canadian law schools, and has been called to the Chinese Bar, the Bar of British Columbia, and the Bar of Alberta.
Sophie has extensive legal experience practicing business and commercial laws, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions, Financing, International Trade Disputes and other corporate commercial matters. Prior to practicing Chinese law as a lawyer, Sophie had worked for five years as a judge in the International Trade Law Division at the Supreme Court of Guangxi in China. She also worked for a worldwide top five international law firm at its Vancouver office, as well as for the Commercial Tribunal of Marseille in France. Sophie speaks, reads and writes fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Sophie has been a guest speaker on Fairchild Radio and a mentor for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Business Immigrant Integration Support Program, as well as instructor for SFU's Legal Translator and Interpreter Program.

Legal Assistant, obtained LL.M. from the University of Montreal and a LL.B. degree from Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. She has extensive experience in corporate matter and real estate transaction in China and Vancouver and a good understanding of Chinese Laws and Canadian Laws related to business. She speaks, reads and writes fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
